Terms and Conditions

Delivery

Orders are despatched via My Hermes or via Royal Mail First class 'Signed For', small items via first class post.  We will include your email address when arranging our courier 'My Hermes' to allow you to track the progress & delivery of your order, if you do not wish us to do this please notify us when you place your order.  (We will never pass your details onto a third party for Marketing purposes).  We would ask you at this difficult time to be patient as deliveries are taking longer than usual, however if your order has not arrived within 14 days please contact us so we can investigate.  If your parcel is deemed to be 'lost in transit' we will arrange a replacement or refund.

Overseas deliveries will now include the cost of tracking.

Liquids/Paint/Solvents

We are delighted to inform you that we can now dispatch paint, solvents, flux, glue etc to our UK customers, these are classed as 'dangerous goods' and do require using a courier licensed to carry these goods.  We have taken the decision not to send these items overseas at this stage.

Orders including any liquids which are classed as 'dangerous goods' will be dispatched via courier and will cost a total of £5.25 per order instead of our usual maximum of £3.50. 

This will not affect orders that do not include liquids which are classed as 'dangerous goods' - which will continue to be dispatched via our usual methods (My Hermes/Royal Mail) at the usual postage costs.

Stock

We aim to hold all the products listed in stock, however if we  have sold out of an item you have ordered, we will notify you immediately and advise you of the delivery date.  We will of course refund you cost of the item if preferred.

Any product not regularly held in stock will be marked as such in the 'description' and delivery lead times will also be given i.e. O Gauge Ian Kirk Coach Kits.

Orders will be despatched same or next day by Myhermes or Second Class post - recorded delivery. 

Cancellations

Should you decide to cancel your order, please advise us immediately and if your order has not been despatched we will refund your monies in full.  If however your order has already been dispatched, then the returns procedure should be followed as explained below.

Returns Procedure

If you return your order to us in 'new' condition i.e. unopened within 14 days of receipt we will refund your monies (including postage) in full.  However if you return any items after that time we will only refund the cost of the item(s).
